What’s Available at Our Abita Luxury Rental Homes
- Fully Equipped Kitchens: Includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, and serve ware.
- Linens and Towels: Fresh linens, bath towels, and beach towels are provided for all Abita Luxury Rental guests.
- Basic Toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and toilet paper.
- Home Amenities: High-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV's, a washer and dryer, and air conditioning.
- Mauna Lani Terraces Community Facilities: Access to the community pool and spa, BBQ grill, and outdoor seating.
- Villages Community Facilities: Community pool and spa, BBQ grill, outdoor seating, and gym.
- Nohea Community Facilities: Community pool and spa, BBQ grill, outdoor seating, and gym.
- Mauna Lani Beach Club: All Abita Luxury Rentals include access to the Mauni Lani Beach Club which has a large parking lot, restrooms, showers, loungers (first come first serve), white sand beach, and a calm shore line.
- Beach items: Cooler, wagon, beach chairs, body boards, snorkels, and umbrella.
- Bicycles: Nohea properties also include access to two large and two small adult bicycles.

Car Rentals: Getting Around with Ease
- Recommended Car Rental Services: Rental cars are avaliable at the Kona (KOA) airport. We recommend booking with reputable companies like Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, and Alamo. Early booking is advised, especially during peak seasons.
- Transportation Options: Having a vehicle will allow you take advantage of everything the Big Island has to offer, from exploring the beautiful white, green, and black sand beaches to visiting the volcanoes. If you aren’t looking to rent a car, Uber and taxis service the area. As well, you can rent a golf cart for part or all of your stay to explore the Mauna Lani resort.
- Parking Information: Free parking is available at each of the Abita Luxury Rentals and the Mauna Lani Beach Club pass provides access to the beach parking lot.
Groceries: Stock Up on Arrival
- Each of our homes has your basics including some spices, oil, ketchup, mustard, and coffee.
- Grocery stores:
- Foodland (Hawaiian grocery store):
- Mauna Lani Resort: Walk or short drive from the Abita Luxury Rentals. This location is quite small but good when you need just a few items or to grab a poke bowl for lunch.
- Waimea: 20 minute drive from the rentals but much larger and well-stocked. It still has all the Hawaiian treats including poke and spam masubi.
- Foodland (Hawaiian grocery store):
- Costco: Located in Kona (30-40min drive from the home). American and Canadian Costco cards will work here for both gas and groceries.
